Haunted

A tinge of supernatural presence lingers on the tidesage. There’s nothing ghoulish or sinister about her, but the ghostly presence of the otherworld presents itself as a strange radiating aura. It’s probably only truly discernable by a capable farseer or exorcist. Sandy appears perfectly content, so it surely isn’t troubling her. Right?On her rope belt is a leather sheathed chef’s knife of exemplary making. Its blade is slightly curved, its metal holds a slow pattern of waves beneath its sheen which fold and twist. The handle fits the large Kul Tiran’s palm perfectly, like it’s made for her; constructed of ebony wood which appears waxed and gleaming. It always seems perfectly sharpened for the job. Darnassian writing is engraved on the side of the blade, close to the hilt. At times, the blade seems supernaturally chill; perhaps it’s the source of her haunting?

Initiate

Immediately recognized as an initiate tidesage, commencement mantles have yet to be earned. Carefully inscribed scrolls along pant legs or skirts assist with keeping belongings dry… enough. A dead ringer bell resides belt clipped within a leather cup. A practical tidal kris hangs opposite, lacking ceremonial decoration. An abyssal beacon hangs from a cord, swaying with movement. Close inspection reveals the tidesage’s clothes are poorly patched, some fraying has been attempted to mend. She’s clearly on an acolyte’s salary.Equipped is a rugged army green canvas backpack with twin leather straps and bronze buckles. Hanging from a zipper is a keychain of a healing stream totem. Within the bag are a variety of items any sailor requires including navigational tools, fresh clothes, and repair kits. A portable cooking knife set is carefully wrapped in cloth. Within is an old-fashioned tin lunch box. It also totes whichever heavy tidesage tome or cookbook that Sandy is learning from this week.

Reputation

Kul Tirans know the name ‘Saltwater’, the famous married celebrity chef duo. Kathy Bridgelight and Guthery Saltwater met in their early twenties while competing for the blue ribbon in the annual Boralus Bake-Off. Kathy and Guthery were cut-throat competitors for years, often trading off who won the ribbon. The extremes they went to were subject to countless parlor gossip in Kul Tiras for years. It was big news when Guthery began courting Kathy. Eventually they married, building a successful catering operation called Saltwater Sensations; known for its culinary couture for nobles. They have two daughters: Sandy and Cassy.

The Sea Wolf

This ship is one of the finer vessels among the Sterling & Sons Shipping Company. Owned by Duke Augustus Sterling and his son Rhy Sterling, the enterprise is a household name across the Alliance. They are famous for exporting tea, cigars, and artillery with rumors of less-than-reputable dealings among artifact traders and arms dealers. Notable members are Tidesage Captain Antonye Sterling.
